P-Loan Compare
Editorial Policy & Methodology
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Our methodology is designed to help readers compare important personal-loan terms consistently. It does not replace the lender’s official disclosures or individualized financial advice.
Required data before publication
Each active lender card must include a verified APR range with a maximum below 36%, a repayment period of at least 61 days, loan amounts, associated fees, a representative total-cost example, the lender’s physical address and a link to full terms.
Evaluation categories
We consider cost transparency, APR and fee competitiveness, repayment flexibility, loan amounts, prequalification availability, application clarity, funding information, state availability, customer-support access and consumer experience.
Scores and labels
Scores and labels express our comparative editorial assessment at the time of review. They are not customer ratings, approval predictions or guarantees. When information is incomplete, the template leaves the score pending and disables the offer button.
Commercial relationships
Compensation may influence provider inclusion and placement. We clearly disclose this relationship and do not claim to cover the entire market. Providers do not approve our educational explanations or methodology.
Updates and corrections
Terms can change without notice. We review listed terms periodically and may update, reorder or remove providers. To report an issue, email info@p-loan-compare.com with a link to the lender’s official terms.
Source standards
Material product claims should be verified against lender disclosures or authoritative government sources. We distinguish verified offer information from illustrative educational examples.
